We’re here to shatter the myths/// Girls love horror! AND there are plenty of female directors and actresses owning the genre. Girls Like Horror is an inclusive film club shining light on horror films made by women AND scary/haunting/grotesque movies with strong, complex, multidimensional female protagonists. Our community celebrates diverse voices in horror, exploring everything from cult classics to the latest releases. After or before each screening Girls Like Horror will host a fun filled mixer to meet and mingle with like-minded individuals, and to dive deeper into horror films! The only requirement for membership is a passion or curiosity for horror through the eyes of girls. All genders are welcome —just bring your love, and that quest, for the thrills and chills!

NOTE: This club is open to all genders, although we do have a focus on films directed by women or films with dynamic female protagonists which horror lends itself well to (that did not stop us from Terrifier 3). We all share that common interest and a love for horror. All club members are welcome to suggest club outings and screenings. We are open to collaborate with various film or cultural organizations for events and screenings.
